Wonderful restaurant. Their french silk pie is to die for and can easily be shared with a friend. They bake all their bread, which is delicious. Sometimes you may have to wait for seating, but it is totally worth it. My favorite dish here is the Shepard's pie or the Ruben. The parmesan garlic fries are pretty good too. All their food is great really. I've yet to go here for breakfast, though I've heard it's tasty.
This use to be a good place for food. Recently we were there for breakfast on Sunday Morning and noticed first that tables seated 15 to twenty minutes seated after us were getting their food, when we asked the waitress about this she could not of been nicer told us she had already been asking in the kitchen and apologized. When our food arrived a few minutes later my eggs Benedict sauce was a strange color of light brown and when I tasted it it was salty turkey gravy. The waitress went to the kitchen to check on it and was told that was the way it always looked. By this time we had been waiting a long time. And the waitress was embarrassed and offered new food.I scrapped all the turkey gravy off my eggs ate only my hash browns and one egg. The assistant manager cleared our plates and I told her about the gravy over my eggs, she went back to taste it and had them take it off and make the correct sauce not gravy. This was already after 11am on a Sunday morning so just think of all the people that morning had ordered eggs Benedict served with turkey gravy. A good kitchen staff would of known by the brown color it was either burnt or wrong sauce. Very disappointed in new owners and lack of good kitchen and management staff. Won't be going back any time soon.
Service awesome! Love this place
I feel the new owners came in and decided to wreck the place. There's no where near enough staff to handle the demand. Obvious cleaning issues are ignored. Where's my favorite server? Probably unemployed. :-(
Sunday breakfast, pretty busy, nice to see - means it’s good and it was the omelette ham and cheese is to die for. Kids pancakes where kinda of rubbery but kid eat them all up. Coffee was hit and the best I’ve had
For the longest time this place was easily the best food in Monticello.
Always great, friendly service here! Have never been disappointed in the food! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Conerstone Cafe to others.
