Fairly easy place to hike with varying trial lengths you can traverse. Paths are a little unsteady in some places, but not too bad. It's a beautiful preserved area, just wish I could have seen more animals.

This park has plenty of wonderful walking trails. The turtle sculpture is really cool!

Great park conveniently located close to Twin Cities. Hiking and backpacking campsites are very nice.

Great hiking trails. Friendly and accommodating staff. The trees here are gorgeous, especially in autumn.

We tried fishing in our kayak and I caught two crappies and Rick caught a bass or two. This was a few Sundays ago. Today we stopped and threw our line out from shore and nothing. I'm sure there are some fish there, we saw them jump but we are going to wait until it gets colder and try fall fishing. Otherwise a great park that is very quiet and close to cities. We like to walk around and spend the day with a lunch and our fishing poles. Live and fake bait work. Small lake for 20 horse motor or less, electric motor or paddle your kayak and canoe. Which one can rent on weekend.
